Ryan & Christine Flip, Fall and Tumble to 5 Years // Detroit, MI Portrait Photographer

I’ve known Christine for a few years now. We used to work together back when I had a desk job … but, urrrgh. I don’t like to think about anyone other than Mrs. Sparkes being my boss. Ya know? Christine called me up hoping to get a few portraits done for her and her husband Ryan’s fifth anniversary. I had photographed them a few years ago, and proper follow-up seemed like a fun idea. Luckily, I had just decided that I wanted to do a little experiment with “action” lighting, so her call couldn’t have come at a better time. You see, Ryan & Christine have both been Michigan State University cheerleaders, as well as members of the Detroit Piston’s drill team. So lets just say the following pictures might have two completely different tones to them. As such, I went for a little B&W v. Color thing. Let me know how you like it. Enjoy.
