Amy & Ian :: Married // Colony Club, Detroit

ianamytitler

Nothing says “Detroit wedding” like tying the knot at the corner of Park and East Montcalm. At least, to me. I love the Colony Club. There is something charming and familiar for me about this gorgeous theater district venue in Downtown Detroit. I couldn’t have been happier to share one of the best placse in Motown with one of the coolest couples to grace the dance floor of that ballroom. Beginning with our street-side photos — ducking the pedestrians heading to the Tigers game –to the trolley ride that landed us in a rap video, it was a day I’ll not soon forget. It was a non-stop party from hanging out in rooms with a view until the sparkler-lit exit at midnight. Thanks for having me guys. Enjoy.

    Dee - Adam,

Your work is magnificent! Really breathtaking and memorable.

A hoax of a story on fb led me here… for that I am thankful. I hope this hoax brings you many more subjects to capture for all eternity!

    Best wishes from AZ!

June - Your photos made it all the way to little Spokane, Washington via facebook. I accidentally opened Amy and Ian’s wedding attached to a “text message faux pas.” What a fantastic photographer you are!

Random wedding photographs of people I’ve never met told the story of this day in their life….and brought a few tears to my eyes, wistfulness reminiscing, and a real envy for your incredible gear and equipment. Oh, to have those tools!

I was married for 21 years, but never had a wedding. After looking at your work, I not only regret that, but now think it’s more important to have a gifted photographer such as yourself, than the rest of the trappings.

Thank you for sharing your gift via Amy and Ian’s Wedding….makes me almost want to get married again!

Best sincerely, June Busby – Spokane, WA

Kathy Chard - I too was lead here from Facebook, but I know the bride’s family. Very sweet people. I really enjoyed looking at your beautiful photos, you’re very gifted. Everyone looked beautiful, especially the bride (although I’m partial). Congratulations to Amy & Ian! I pray you have a beautiful life together.
