These photos are some extra captures from my recent session used to illustrate depth of field for my blog post over at Click Click Flash Wow (see it here). Big thanks to Vana for the continued help with the basic photography lessons. Be sure to keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter and Click Click Flash Wow for more lessons and photos. Enjoy.

Vana :: the Depth-of-Field session // Royal Oak Michigan Photographer
Shailey :: Year One // Trenton Family Photographer
I was fortunate enough to photograph little Shailey last week, along with her family and canine companion. She was an absolute doll, and provided some of the most thoughtful faces I’ve seen on a one-year-old in a while. Thanks for having me, folks. Enjoy.

Logan, Morgan, Lily :: Summer Fun // Michigan Kids Photographer
Had a wonderful time with this beautiful family. Our primary goal for the morning was to get Lily her two-year photos, but I think we managed to squeeze in a cute little family session, too. Thanks, guys. Up next: Sheily. Enjoy.

Rick & Lauren Chillin’ & Getting Married :: Cliff Bell’s, Inn on Ferry Street, Detroit Wedding Photographer
Rick and Lauren wanted more of a party than a traditional wedding. I’d say they pulled it off, between the garden ceremony at the Inn, the vintage Packard limo, the jazz band at Cliff Bells, and Rick’s stellar Scrabble board cuff links. It was a very laid-back affair and the whole crowd seemed ready for a good time from the moment they began to gather on the lawn. Big thanks to Uncle Carl for playing chauffeur with his beautiful 1940 (did I get the year right?) Packard. I hope you all enjoy the photos!
